Install freeNX0.7.3 on redhat 5.4

NXserver  from  limits at 2 session using their free version,   after read the install doc in freeNX0.7.3,  the  way I install it:

1. Install redhat5.4 OS, download netcat install, redhat default has expect and ssh installed.

2. download  nxclient-3.4.0-5.x86_64.rpm,  nxnode-3.4.0-11.x86_64.rpm from, rpm install them, delete /usr/NX/etc/node.lic

in freenx install doc, saying download nx source to compile, and get the lib to use, it takes time to compile,  use rpm easy to get the working lib.

3. download freenx-server-0.7.3.tar.gz

4. untar freenx-server-0.7.3.tar.gz

$ cd freenx-server-0.7.3
$ patch -p0 < gentoo-nomachine.diff
$ make
$ make install

5.  mkdir /usr/NX/home/nx/.ssh ; chmod 700 /usr/NX/home/nx/.ssh

6.  /usr/NX/bin/nxsetup --install

it will ask "Do you want to use your own custom KeyPair? [y/N] " , type in N, it will use nx well-known keys to setup nxserver.

7. verify nx setup:

nxserver --status

nxserver --stop

nxserver --start

In client machine install nxclient,  test the nxserver.  now you should have  NX server with unlimit session .

If your machine in public network,  create your own keys using /usr/NX/bin/nxkeygen.

nxclient print screen:
